Megunticook Rowing will host the Dirigo Sprints on Saturday, May 24th on Megunticook Lake. Racing starts at 830am. Last race is at 12pm. Dirigo Sprints wraps up the fast and furious spring racing season for the Megunticook Rowing team.Â
This event began several years ago to bring as many rowing teams together to battle it out on the water for the title and trophy. Defending champions Maine Coast Rowing Association of Brunswick, ME will be defending their title. Waynflete of Portland and Neponset Rowing Club from Milton, MA will also participate. These clubs have been competing against each other all month adds to the excitement and anticipation of this final spring regatta.
