Why sponsor Megunticook Rowing?
Our experience managing and operating Megunticook Rowing this year has taught us that to build the robust program that we all want to see on our beautiful lake, we must hire a full time head coach. The programs we operate today are not sustainable at our current small size — we must grow. How much? We want to build the program back to its pre-COVID size, with 40-50 juniors and a full-time coach. We want to choose growth, and we believe our community deserves growth. Your donation is the key to making that choice possible.
Your sponsorship dollars for the 2024-2025 year will be the seed money for this position. In the future, a revived high school program will cover the coaching salary. In the meantime we need a full-time person on staff to get us there.
